‘Paradigm’ (패러다임) is a song by Korean artist Xydo (시도, pronounced ‘shi-do’) in his 2021 mini album ‘Cycle.’
We might be more familiar with the word ‘paradigm’ in the context of a ‘paradigm shift’ – at least I was. On its own, though, the word can mean a typical pattern or model of something. And in Xydo’s song, it’s used to express how his relationship isn’t special like he thought it would be but rather is yet another story of love and heartbreak.
